About David Samuel

David Samuel is a naturalist as well as a taxidermist. He prides himself on recreating the most lifelike pose and mount as possible. For over 35 years birds, animals both full body and game head trophies, snakes, freshwater and saltwater fish mounted by David Samuel have been on display and used in education by the US Department of Interior, Florida Fish and Wildlife, and the Audubon Society. Additionally, countless sportsmen and women world wide have their David Samuel mounted trophies on display in their homes or offices.

David Samuel is an outdoorsman who has spent most of his life photographing and studying live birds and animals and their mannerisms and habits. That has made a lifetime of mounting birds, and animals in the most exciting natural and lifelike positions his passion. Even his realistic snake mount startle the client to do a double take when he first notices it coiled up next to him on display.

David Samuel is an avid sport fisherman always looking for an excuse to go fishing to keep up on the most natural true live fish colors. Of course catching fish is an added bonus! He has an extensive photo library of fish fresh out of the water in various locations, both saltwater and freshwater and caught at varying times of the year to get the most accurate color for your fish mount. With today's shrinking fish population, David Samuel recommends fiberglass reproductions of your fish trophy.
